Somehow I feel their headgrowth is developing too fast. Does this mean my fish will be gone-cased at 9months old?

| Both fish look great but I really like the way the wen is coming in on the 2nd fish. |

| I like the caudal fin (thicker) and the body profile of the 1st fish, but yes the 2nd fish has a better wen. |

They hatched on 20th Dec, so that makes them approx 11 weeks.
You guys are very kind with your comments. Thank you.
But on a serious note, would you say there's something not right about their headgrowth? Hmmm, I'll try to put it down. They look like they have cute lionchu heads, as opposed to the fierce oranda heads.
Oh, no special care. I only have sponge filter and daily WC. They're still on tubi but they are being weaned off that soon. From my observations, good water + low temps + high o2 sets the headgrowth off. |

FD3's I would be worried if the wen was any bigger than that. If the wen grows too fast it will peak before the body of the fish does. Right now they seem to be growing at the same pace. It's still a very young and small fish. If you want criticism then I would say you should start working on deepening the color of the fish. Try to start getting it to look like a tomato rather than an orange. I don't have to tell you what method I would use to boost color and wen. But I'm not going down that road.
Keep up the good work, your grooming skills seem to be right on the money. |

Oh, no, that's not going to happen. My fish are far from Mr Lim's standards. I'll save myself the embarrassment, thank you.
Is there going to be a self bred cat? Haha... |

Yea you voiced my worries exactly, the fish is not developing at an uniform pace, certainly not what I imagined.
LOL, OK buddy, I got your cue.
I'll work on colours a while later, they aren't even 3 months yet.
Once again, thank you! |

Appreciating goldfish already got mayhem, breeding is a totally different ball game, I think.
Haven't try, don't know how much hell the real breeders go through to sell us their fish. LOL. A tank of cheap $3 orange orandas are not as simple as it looks. |

Some of the fries I raised from a spawn that hatched on 20th Dec. This makes them 50ish days old.
Will they come out OK?
Today's weather was slightly overcast, the pics didn't turn out good except for these.
ATM the last pcs is my fav in the spawn, what do you think? All advices/suggestions/comments welcome.
cheers,

Hi!
Thanks. No, they're not from jumbo parents, not that I know of.
Here's a couple from a later spawn.
