Don't look good. Try to isolate and observe it for a while. Try melafix. _________________ LauLanChu

Fishyboy, the batch of fish is very weak. i find similar problem to my wakin too. But i keep it in top notch water condition, and hopefully it can regain its health slowly.
Try not to disturb it, reduce its stress would really help. _________________

| hermanto wrote: | Bro Wolverine, how do you differentiate between true jikin and wakin with jikin tail?
Side track issue: how old are you? |
In Japan, jikin is a variety of goldfish that is completely break away from wakin gene. A brand new mutated gene.
Aside from colour pattern and tail shape, the major different in the body shape is that the jikin has less back curve compared to wakin. Very short peduncle.
Me, still young, 38 only!
Why you ask??........i must have sound old while talking to Fishyboy?
Well, i missed my late-father. i just hope he understand how lucky to have his parent beside him sharing his hobby. _________________

Just an observation, a jikin's tail is actually a wakin's tail with a full split that is somehow 'pressed down'. Pls do correct me if im wrong.
P.S. Hi bro wolverine, how r ur jikin doing? |

I think there is more to the difference between jikin and wakin tail. I notice that the angle (seen from side view) is very different. _________________
